Sixgill shark dive in Eagle Harbor. Aquatica had Discovery Channel along as well as world renowned shark expert Dr. Chris Harvey-Clark for these epic dives. A total of 3 Sixgill sharks were observed at 350 ft deep, from the comfort of the Stingray submersible.

AQUATICA DISCOVERS NEW GLASS SPONGE BIOHERM
After a series of routine "site survey dives", the Aquatica Team discovered an amazing Glass Sponge Bioherm! This new and unique find of a never-before-seen Sponge shows how valuable manned submersibles are to underwater exploration, survey, optical documentation.

Scientific Survey expedition with the Marine Life Sanctuaries Society of BC and Discovery Channel. Aquatica was delighted to complete an extensive, multi-dive expedition, with the MLSS and their study of the Kelvin Grove Triple Seamount located near Lions Bay, BC. This is a large bioherm/reef spanning several hundered square meters that sits at a depth of roughly 260 FSW. Until the availability of the Stingray 500, the MLSS has been restricted to survey and document using only drop camera. Now, they were able to see in person!

Aquatica dives on the Annapolis shipwreck at Gambier Island, Howe Sound, BC, with Discovery Channel. This series of dives was set as a training expedition for some Aquatica's newest and up-and-coming pilots. The Annapolis is a fantastic structure for this specific type of training.
